3 Days in Los Angeles from India covers day-wise itinerary of my trip to Los Angeles and covering LA’s Top Attraction like Universal Studio and Warners Bros Tour.
Los Angeles, city of dreams and Hollywood, it is definitely impress you with the first impression. As we landed into the city, the excitment and enthusism was rising. It was our first city in 15 day trip to USA. We planned to spend 3 days in Los Angeles and moved to Las Vegas.
Day 1:
Our flight was suppose to land by afternoon and reach hotel, due to immegration and getting out of the airport took longer than expected. By the time we reached our hotel, it was 4:00 pm. First day we spent time exploring Downtown LA where our hotel was located. Later, we went to OUE Skyspace LA to see mesmerising sunset filled with city of lights. Though it was our first day, but excitment of the city and vibe made us forget about jet-lag and enjoy the moment.
Before we reach Los Angeles, we bought Go LA Pass for 3 day access to LA’s Top Attractions. The card gets activated on the first use at any of the listed interaction. After going through various options and cost analysis, we went with GO LA Pass as it was fitting into the budget and had access to attractions and sightseeing we were planning to do in 3 Days in Los Angeles. If you want flexibility to choose your attractions and save cost, GO LA Pass is the best option available. You can make most of the pass if used wisely.
Day 2:
Second day, we spent our day at Universal Studio Hollywood. Exploring amazing rides and attractions of our favourite movies like Jurassic World, Transformers, Kung Fu Panda, Simpson and more! Universal Studio Hollywood was my dream Amusement Park and visiting that was so much fun.
Universal Studio Hollywood has Two Lot – Upper Lot and Lower Lot. The entrance in Upper Lot has Magical World of Harry Potter. Being a huge Harry Potter Fan, I was so impressed and excited to enter the World of Hogwats. From rides around the theme to even buying a Butterbeer, each element in the Harry Potter World in Universal Studio will transport you to the movies. Apart from Harry Potter, there was rides on Walking Dead, Simpson and more.
Similarly, in Lower Lot is where major action happens. You have rides on Jurrasic Park. Transformers and The Mummy. For thrill seekers, Lower Lot is where you need to start. Not just that, there are many meet ad greet characters are available throughout the park from Bumblebee to Mummy to even Dinosaur.
Secret to Avoid Long Queue and waiting time, Download Universal Studio App and route your experiences accordingly. The App will advise you on the waiting time at each of the rides and which restaurant and shops are located in which Lot. This helps in making the most of your time at the amusement park.
The Highlight of Universal Studio Hollywood is their Studio Tour. It is one of the best studio tour with some of the live experiences on your way! After your theme park experience, head over to CityWalk for nice dinner and indulge yourself in shopping! Perfect way to end second day of 3 Days in Los Angeles.
Day 3:
Our last day in Los Angeles started with visiting Warner Bros Studio Tour where we got insight into movie making. The tour starts as per the slots you have booked in advance. We opted for morning slot to make the most out of our day at Los Angeles. The Tour will take you through various sets created inside the Studio and which movie have been shot. Tour Guide explained in detail how they make movies and some inside details as well. Later, we walked through the costume studio and live studio of non-other than, Ellen Degeneres. We also recreated moments from our favourite show like Friends and Big Bang Theory.
Later in the day, we took a walk around Hollywood Boulevard to see Hollywood Walk of Fame. We passed through some of the stars before we took a tour of LA in Hop on Hop Off Bus. Hop on Hop off Bus made it easier to travel around Los Angeles and see many famous areas like Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Beach and Venice Beach. Due to limited time, we moved through some areas and not spent time on each of the locations.
We ended our Los Angeles 3 Day Trip by visiting Griffith Observatory It is an ideal place to view Hollywood Sign and Top view of the entire Los Angeles. There are some shows takes place inside for which you need to book tickets in advance. Overall, this was perfect Los Angeles Itinerary which one can plan and make maximum of their 3 Days in Los Angeles.
Overall, Los Angeles Trip was nothing but a dream come true. If you are obsessed with Hollywood Movies and the industry, then you should definitely plan a trip there. Spend more days as I felt 3 were less for Los Angeles and there is so much one can do!
