Visit an amusement park.. Oh yes! That’s pending..!
So we picked up a weekend when everyone was free and went to Adlabs Imagica in Khapoli.

After Essel World, Imagica is the only amusement park for people of Mumbai and nearby city to visit. Since a child, I have been to Essel World and also never been exposed to international amusement park, my expectations were not high. Imagica fit the perfect place I have imagined – 2-3 scary ride, few indoor experience and nothing but lively environment. Park starts at 10 am and you will find many people entering at the very beginning. The major rides like Nitro, Dare to Drop, Scream Machine and Gold Rush are at the starting and also thrilling. Nitro and Dare to Drop is must try. Also other two offers good experience. These are the most exciting rides in the park.

We spent more time on these rides that by lunch time we realised there is more to Imagica than these rides. Since it was lunch time, many groups were going for lunch and we took that opportunity to visit other rides. Deep Space is a small roller coaster in pitch darkness, for people who can’t stand dark, it’s definitely for them. Then there is Alibaba Aur Chalis Chorr again a ride for kids and adults where you shoot along your way! Another fun ride and must do is Rajasaurus, Indian dinosaur and its world. For those who love haunted house, should make a visit to Salimgarheath. Next to this you will find, Wrath of the Gods, a real time theatre where you don’t just see people performing but you are also part of it. Note: Here you might get drenched in the water or face some other deadly situation.

Apart from the above mentioned ride, there are many other rides for small kids, which are just entertaining, but neither scary nor thrilling but completely fun. Imagica features 5D theatre Mr. India and I for India giving you the real experience of the situation.
The only thing which I didn’t like was timing for each and every ride. Park start at 10 and only ride open from 10-11 am is Nitro, Dare to Drop, scream machine and gold rush. So this means whole crowd is there. By 11 other rides will start, but these rides will shut at 1 pm till 4 pm. So you don’t have an option but to visit other small rides and shows. It becomes difficult to decide what to do when. Hence take time and plan your day accordingly else you will miss many interesting rides.

Compare to Indian standards, the park has good rides and management was good (ignoring the timing part here). The only disadvantage is that the park is small that rides and next to each other with less space between them, giving it a feel of clutter.
If you tired of watching movies, going to the mall or sitting at home and thinking how to send day with friends, Imagica is the answer to your question.
Entry Fee: 1500-2000 : High on weekends, Weekdays cheaper, Have various offers to choose for saving money.
Food: Restaurants available inside (Bit expensive but good food)
Must carry: Glares, sunscreen, comfortable footwear, Extra pair of clothes (incase, not much needed) and lot of enthusiasm
