Entrance to The Lil Flea Market |
Started in 2014, The Lil Flea Market is a vibrant 3 day event which offers creative products, experimental cuisines, music and art and lively atmosphere.

The event gives an opportunity to Bombay’s upcoming artist, designers, chefs and startup companies to showcase their products to the vast audience who are looking at spending their weekend exploring.
The 2016 edition took place from 11-13 March at BKC, Mumbai. The event was quite huge and attracted lots of people, so much that I had to wait in line for 20 minutes to get inside (Maybe that was because I went there on the last day). There were all types of people, from the young crowd to the older people to the photographer or even foodies of Mumbai, everyone was there! Some people also bought their dog at the event.
The Lil Flea Market was super packed with people, hence making it difficult to see the products. Also, I found that prices of many items very high compare to what you can find on your normal visit to the shops. No doubt there were creative and unseen products on display. If you have the creative eye, then you might end up buying the right piece.
A break from Mall visit, it was quite a unique experience! (Go on first 2 days if possible, as last day was super crowded)
